グリーンウッドワークの必需品、削り馬（シェービングホース）。生木を切ったり削ったりするのに使う便利な作業台です。この削り馬と銑（ドローナイフ）があれば、立派な椅子も作れます。
丁番を利用した水平な作業面を実現、お尻が痛くなりにくい広い座面、片持ちの踏板は足をのせるだけでシッカリと素早く材料を固定するなど数々の工夫が盛り込んであります。
もちろん使い終われば、折りたたんでコンパクトに収納できます。 たたんで、ロックを回せば持ち上げても脚が広がりません。
折りたたんだ時の全長が約1.2ｍと、小柄な人でも持ち運びやすい大きさです。

１部1,000円で、A4サイズプリントで表紙、使用時、折りたたみ時の１：１０スケールの三面図、材料表と立体分解図、各部材の詳細寸法、組立の手引き2枚の計7枚ひと綴りのPDFがダウンロードできます。ホームセンターなどで購入しやすい2×4材で作れる寸法になっています。木工中級者向けの資料です。

Masashi Kutsuwa, associate professor at Gifu Academy of Forest Science and Culture in Japan, and Shinsuke Kato, technical assistant at Daido University, designed this innovative shaving horse.
Designed with 2X4 lumber, it is easy to make.
You can set the work height and angle anywhere you like, thanks to the unique zig-zag platform.
It sets up and folds in 10 seconds, without any tools.
In February 2019, we added a locking mechanism at the time of folding. If you fold and turn the lock, your leg will not spread even if you lift it up.
Then, the rotation axis of the rear leg was shifted, the total length when folded was shorter by 57 mm, becoming more compact with 1165 mm.
